The Help Center is available 24 hours a day for anyone in need of crisis counseling, experiencing suicidal thoughts or in need of information or referral services. If you are in crisis please call us.
While the majority of our work is done by telephone, our doors are open 8am-8pm for “walk-in” counseling and referral. We also offer free short-term crisis counseling by appointment (based on availability of counselors).
We provide trauma recovery counseling, outreach and long term individual counseling for survivors of sexual assault and the significant people in their lives along with outreach and advocacy services. This is part of the RAINN network.
The Help Center is part of a statewide effort to provide accurate health and human resource referral information. Resources can be accessed by calling 586-3333, dialing 211 from a local phone number or by going to the Montana 2-1-1 website at www.montana211.org
We provide crisis counseling to individuals who are considering suicide as well as to those who know someone who is suicidal. Our services also include community education to help others understand more about the issue of suicide. The Help Center is a member of the American Association of Suicidology and is certified by Contact-USA.
This is a service whereby we make daily telephone calls to elderly or disabled individuals who are basically homebound and alone. For some, we are their only contact with the outside world and it gives us great joy to provide this for them. If you know someone who would benefit from this service, please contact us.
The Help Center acts as an Answering Service to several agencies and counselors in the local area. This provides weekend and vacation emergency contact for clientele. Please call or email for more information regarding this service.
