The Referral Database & Crisis Answering service is a service the Help Center provides to Mental Health Professionals in Gallatin, Park, Madison & Beaverhead Counties.  We also partner with the Gallatin Mental Health Center to provide extended emergency services.
We have three options for services available to area mental health professionals:
  • Option 1: FREE Referrals! Fill out our form and we will provide free referrals to your practice! It’s that easy! You will be included in the database for our crisis counselors to refer callers to as well as be included in the online searchable directory on our website through the Bright App.
  • Option 2: Protect your privacy and let the Help Center act as your Crisis Answering Service for after-hours client emergencies. Plus FREE referrals!
  • Option 3: Protect your privacy and your time! Let the Help Center and the Gallatin Mental Health Crisis Response Team (CRT) respond to your clients who are in an emergent situation and might need an evaluation for hospitalization. This assures your client will be evaluated by the CRT should they need a higher level of care.  Plus, FREE referrals!

service details
OPTION 1
FREE Referral Database
The Help Center is happy to offer FREE referrals to Mental Health
Professionals in local and surrounding counties! Your information will be included in our database we will use to refer callers to. You will also be included in our online searchable database.  You may choose to only be included in our database (Option 1) or if you choose Option 2 or 3, you will automatically be included.
OPTION 2

This enables you to keep your cell and/or home phone number private.  For a nominal fee, your privacy is protected and we will call you should one of your clients need your assistance in an after-hours emergency.
  OPTION 3
Extended Emergency Service (EES)
Gallatin Mental Health Center provides the Extended Emergency Service.  This service combines the Help Center’s Crisis Answering Service with the Crisis Response Team (CRT). For a yearly fee,  you can be assured that your client will be evaluated by the CRT should they need emergency assistance at the ER or Hope House.  If the client contacts the Help Center before going to the ER, we will attempt to contact you on their behalf.

FAQ
What happens when my client calls the Help Center?
When they call and say they are a client of yours and need to get a hold of you, we take their information and use the information you provided in your registration form about how to get a hold of you after-hours. NOTE:  We try to get some information about what is going on for them, but sometimes they do not wish to share with us.
What if I am out of town?
Please email us at info@bozemanhelpcenter.org before you leave with:  Your name, dates and times you will be gone, who your backup person is and their contact information.   You are also welcome to call our business line at 587-7511 to relay this information.
What if my practice has an on-call schedule?
Please email us at info@bozemanhelpcenter.org with the schedule and contact information for each provider.  Each provider on the list MUST be signed up in our system.
What if you can’t get a hold of me?
We work through the information you provided in your registration form about how to reach you.  If after 30 minutes we do not reach you, we contact your backup person.
If my client is in crisis will Help Center staff speak with them?
Of course!  If the client is in crisis and speaking with a Help Center staff member/volunteer is something they are open to, we will try to engage them to help them through the crisis or until you can be reached.
How can I notify my clients they can call the Help Center after hours to reach me?
You are welcome to leave a message on your voicemail with “If this is after hours and you need to reach me, please call the Help Center at 406-586-3333.”  You are also welcome to give the number to clients as a way to reach you after hours.
What happens if my client is in the ER and they need to be evaluated?
If you are signed up for the Extended Emergency Services, the Gallatin Mental Health Center Crisis Response Team (CRT) will respond and evaluate your client.  If you are not signed up, the Help Center will call you to respond to the ER for your client.
