Description of Services

The Referral Database & Crisis Answering service is a service the Help Center provides to Mental Health Professionals in Gallatin, Park, Madison & Beaverhead Counties. We have two options to participate:
  • Referral Database (OPTION 1): FREE Referrals! Fill out our form and we will provide free referrals to your practice! It’s that easy! You will be included in the database for our crisis counselors to refer callers to as well as be included in the online searchable directory on our website through the Bright App. You can update your profile as often as you would like, including if you are taking new clients!
  • Crisis Answering Service (OPTION 2): Protect your privacy and let the Help Center act as your Crisis Answering Service for after-hours client emergencies or needs. This enables you to keep your personal contact information private. When registering for this service you will automatically be included in the Referral Database and get free referrals! There is an annual fee of $200 (or $205 to pay online) to participate in this service.
  • Register your entire practice: You can now create ONE profile for your practice or agency!  You can sign up just to be in the Referral Directory or also add the Crisis Answering Service option for a fee. Please note, you do not have to sign up as an entire practice if you don’t wish to. You are welcome to continue having each individual provider sign up and pay on their own.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to changes in Gallatin County's mental health system, the Extended Emergency Services (CRT) option will no longer be available for you to sign up for. If your client is in need of an evaluation or after-hours in-person care, Hope House and the ER are still options, and your client will be evaluated by someone with a Mental Health Professional Person certification. If something changes in the future, we will notify you.

How to Sign Up

Annual registration opens in January each year, however, we have open enrollment, which means no matter when you sign up in the calendar year, you will pay the same fee. We strongly encourage you to sign-up in January every year to get the most out of your annual fee.

If you signed up to be in our database in 2022, please select "Update Form." If you are new to our database, select "Annual Registration Form" below.

FAQ
What happens when my client calls the Help Center?
When they call and say they are a client of yours and need to get a hold of you, we take their information and use the information you provided in your registration form about how to get a hold of you after-hours. NOTE:  We try to get some information about what is going on for them, but sometimes they do not wish to share with us.
What if I am out of town?
Please email us at info@bozemanhelpcenter.org before you leave with:  Your name, dates and times you will be gone, who your backup person is and their contact information.   You are also welcome to call our business line at 587-7511 to relay this information.
What if my practice has an on-call schedule?
Please email us at info@bozemanhelpcenter.org with the schedule and contact information for each provider.  Each provider on the list MUST be signed up in our system.
What if you can’t get a hold of me?
We work through the information you provided in your registration form about how to reach you.  If after 30 minutes we do not reach you, we contact your backup person.
If my client is in crisis will Help Center staff speak with them?
Of course!  If the client is in crisis and speaking with a Help Center staff member/volunteer is something they are open to, we will try to engage them to help them through the crisis or until you can be reached.
How can I notify my clients they can call the Help Center after hours to reach me?
You are welcome to leave a message on your voicemail with “If this is after hours and you need to reach me, please call the Help Center at 406-586-3333.”  You are also welcome to give the number to clients as a way to reach you after hours.
Need Help?
