Intern Counseling Program 

​In collaboration with Montana State University (MSU) and other universities we provide free counseling to the community with masters level students, in-training to be counselors.  Interns receive individual and group supervision from an LCPC on our staff as is required by their graduate program or the state. 

We provide individual, couples and family counseling to low-income and under-insured in our community while providing a venue for Master’s level counseling students to procure hours for their internship while fulfilling this need.

To become an Intern Counselor:
  • Must already be an adept volunteer or staff at the Help Center, having gone through our crisis line training and ASIST and become quite comfortable working the hotline and taking suicide calls and walk-ins.  Typically, for at least 3-6 months.  For Volunteer application Click Here
  • Graduate interns must be currently enrolled in a graduate program.
