VIRTUAL Run for Your Life: Race Day Details 
Virtual Run, Walk, or Roll: Anytime between Oct. 24th-30th

​Thank you for supporting the Help Center’s 7th Annual Run For Your Life and participating in our Virtual event! We appreciate your support in coming together, from near and far, for the Help Center and suicide prevention. The Help Center, serving 13 counties in Southwest Montana, has been in Bozeman serving our area for 50 years, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Available 24/7 by calling (406) 586-3333. 
Please read the following details thoroughly:
Picture
Packet Pick-Up
  • Drive-through packet pick-up will be on Friday, Oct. 29th, from 11a-6p at The Springs at Bozeman (2632 Catron St., behind Target). Please enter parking lot from the Catron St. entrance, and drive up towards the overhang where volunteers will greet you. Exit through the parking lot towards 27th St. 
  • You will get all your race swag (shirt-for those that registered by 10/13). running in honor of buttons/bibs, coupons, and more all while staying in your vehicle! 
  • We will just need the names of those registered when you check in. You can pick-up for others if you wish.
Packet Shipping
  • If you chose the shipping option during check-out, you will receive your shirts/capes those will be mailed as soon as possible. Depending on when you registered, we cannot guarantee you will receive it by the week of the 24th.
Date
  • ANYTIME between Oct. 24th-30th
Course
  • You pick your course where you are! If you are in the Bozeman/Belgrade area, here are some ideas:
    • MSU Stadium/Southside (similar to our in-person route): 5k or 1k
    • In-Person 5k Route: You can do our 2021 route on your own, just do not complete on Oct. 30th between 7am-1pm when the in-person event is happening.  5k and Kid's Run routes.
    • Bozeman Public Library: 5k or 1k
    • Gallatin County Regional Park: 5k or 1k
    • Belgrade: 5k or 1
  • You can also complete from a treadmill, bike, or any way that gets you moving!
Costume Contest & Prizes
  • We have some great prizes JUST for our Virtual Participants!
  • Ways to Win:
    • Submit your time. Anyone who submits their time online will be entered into a raffle to win a $20 Sidewall Pizza gift card (if you are not local, we will get you something else--promise)! See below how to submit time.
    • Virtual Costume Contest. Check out the Virtual Costume Contest Categories HERE.
      • How to Enter the Virtual Costume Contest:
        You can enter in one of 2 ways. Submit no later than 5pm on Oct. 30th ​
        • Email a photo along with your first and last name to r4yl@bozemanhelpcenter.org
        • ​​​​-OR-
        •  Post on social media:
          • Post on Instagram -OR- Facebook and use #run4yourlifemt and/or tag the Help Center (@bozemanhelpcenter).
          • IMPORTANT: Be sure your settings are set to public so that we can search for your photos AND be able to message you after the race if you won.​
Submit your Results
  • Submit your time or that you completed the event anytime before Oct. 30th at 5pm. 
  • Instructions to submit
  1. Go to our RunSignUp Results Page & choose “Submit Virtual Results" button 
  2. Lookup your registration with your name OR email/DOB
  3. Choose "Submit Virtual Results" under the event 
  4. If you are not signed in, it will ask to validate by email or last 4 digits of your phone. NOTE: It will not send you an email or text, only used to verify
  5. Enter your time or select "I finished, but did not time my run". You can also upload GPX, FIT or TCX files
  • SHORTCUT if you know your login:
    1. Log In
    2. Choose Profile in upper right (either a picture or gray person)
    3. Find Run for Your Life and choose "Submit Virtual Results"

Run/Walk Bibs
  • Virtual participants do not need to wear a bib, but you are welcome to if you want!
  • Print your own at home and give yourself a number. DOWNLOAD BIB
  • If you would like bib pins, please request at packet pick-up. For those whose items are being shipped, we DID NOT include bib pins.
In Honor Of Bibs
  • If you are running/walking in honor of someone, you can PRINT THESE BIBS AT HOME.
Share Your Experience
  • Since we won't see you in person, we would love to have you share your Run for Your Life experience!
  • Social Media: Share on social and use #run4yourlifemt and/or tag us @bozemanhelpcenter. (IMPORTANT: Be sure your settings are set to public if you want us to see it).
  • Follow the Help Center to see what fellow virtual participants are sharing and see photos from our in-person event! Instagram & Facebook 
  • Run Site: ​Submit a photo on the Run for Your Life website. You can also upload after you submit your run/walk results.
  • Please note that by sharing your photo you are giving us permission to re-share and use in future marketing.
Safety
  • Please follow the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) guidance on the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 while participating in any Run for Your Life activities.
  • Follow all local and state COVID-19 guidance put in place in the location you will be participating in.
  • Please know Run for Your Life organizers will not be providing any support or security measures for our virtual participants where you are participating. Follow all pedestrian safety ordinances and follow the rules of the road.
