Below is the information from our 2021 event. We will update our 2022 event information in the summer. Thank you!

Event Information

Join us on Saturday, October 30th, for Run for Your Life, a Halloween-themed 5k Run/Walk, and Kid's Fun Run to benefit the Help Center's suicide prevention and crisis intervention in YOUR local community. This is a fun race, to help a very deep purpose. We also have a virtual option to participate from ANYWHERE between Oct. 24th-30th.

We are excited to bring Run for Your Life back IN PERSON this year for our 7th Annual! This event aims to bring awareness to suicide prevention, de-stigmatize seeking mental health help, remember those we have lost to suicide, promote healthy activity, and fundraise for vital Help Center services.

While we understand that the pandemic has not gone away, our team is working to make this a fun and safe event. We are fortunate to be able to host this event outside, however, we ask that you make the best decision for you and your family whether you wish to attend in person or virtually. We will continue to monitor CDC and local guidelines and adjust our event, as necessary, if guidelines or mandates change. In the event we need to cancel our in-person event, we will switch to a Virtual format.

What will be the same?
  • Supporting the Help Center in the name of suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
  • Our popular costume contest for dogs and humans!
  • Fun course through the south end trail system and sidewalks. We have changed the 5k course to ensure you are not meeting other runners looping back.
  • Dogs are still welcome on leash.
  • Same-day registration will be allowed, but we recommend doing it at home to avoid lines.
  • AMAZING and comfy T-Shirts!
What will be different from pre-pandemic Run for Your Life?
  • We will continue to offer a virtual run/walk/ride option where you can participate from anywhere, anytime between Oct. 24th-30th. We will have some fun prizes just for these participants!
  • We will once again offer a drive-through packet pick-up just like last year! Shipping will be available for the Virtual race.
  • We will have limited food and drinks available, compared to past years.
  • The Kid's run around the stadium will have some new additions and surprises!
Please check out our COVID-19 Safety Protocols
